Part 2, we start with the main form of Weng chun, what we call 11 hands. this form is simple but will becomes very complex as more details are taught.

Part 3, the last section of the class is the most impoirtant, which is the application training. this part of the class teaches the applications behind the form and all its understanding. Some classes, the students only work on this section as it is the most time consuming for beginners.

IN HONG KONG DURING THE 1950'S, THERE WAS SUCH A PLACE KNOWN AS DA SAI POULTRY MARKET (DAI DUK LAN), A SMALL POULTRY MARKET LOCATED ON PLAYING FIELD ROAD. THERE UP STAIRS, A MASTER OF SOUTHERN CHINESE MARTOAL ATS LIVED. HE TRAVED FROM FUSHIAN CHINA FOLLOWING THE JAPANESE WAR BRINGING WITH HIM HIS FAMILY MARTIAL ARTS PASSED DOWN FROM HIS FATHER.. HIS NAME AS Tang Yik 鄧奕. IN DA SAI POULTRY MARKET (DAI DUK LAN), THREE OTHER MASTERS OF THAT TIME MEET WITH TANG YIK FOR REGULAR DISCUSSION ON THE ARTS. THESE FOUR WERE KNOW AS "THE FOUR TIGERS (DAI DUK LAN)". THEY WERE,

Tang Yik 鄧奕 - TANG FAMILY WENG CHUN

Chu Chung Man 朱頌民 - CHU FAMILY WENG CHUN

Lo Chiu Woon羅超桓 - LO FAMILY WENG CHUN

Tam Kong 譚剛 - UNDER RESEARCH

WE ARE THE LINEAGE OF TANG YIK. REPRESENTING THE FAMILY ART.

DURING THIS TIME OF DA SAI POULTRY MARKET, YIK MAN AN OUTSIDER VISITED SOMETIMES, IN FACT, THE VERY FIRST WOODEN DUMMY IN HONG KONG CAME FROM FOSHIAN ORIGINATED IN THIS MARKET WHERE TANG YIK RESIDED. ONE DAY YIP MAN CAME TO DA SAI POULTRY MARKET AND TOOK MEASUREMENTS OF THIS DUMMY. HE WENTR BACK AND CREATED ONE FOR HIMSELF AND ALL THE DUMMIES IN THE WORLD TODAY WAS FROM THE ORIGINAL DESIGN LOCATED IN TANG YIK'S HOME.

IT WASN'T UNTIL LATER THAT YIP MAN PRESUMABLY CREATED HIS PERSONAL FORM THAT SO MANY KNOW TODAY. THIS PICTURE BELOW IS FROM DA SAI POULTRY MARKET. YOU CAN SEE YIP MAN ALONG SIDE TANG YIK AND CHU CHUNG MAN.

On right, actual photo of the first dummy in hong kong located in DA SAI POULTRY MARKET where Yip Man took his measurments for building his own and where Tang Yik practiced daily.

this section is for wing chun practitioners only

Tang Yik Weng Chun is not your typical wing chun as you may have either studied or seen before. This is not yip man wing chun. the spelling is similiar but the chinese cheracters are different. we are teaching the original eternal spring lineage.

a warning about learning from an internet program or you tube

you can not learn from an internet program or the internet youtube channel. howerever, you can get something out of it but its hard to tell to what extent that might be. its inconstitant and fragmented at best. you must have a qualified sifu or sihing on the other side in order to make it work. even moy yat himself stated this one.

Weng Chun gives you more than just physical exercise. it also encompuses the elements of mental, spiritual development. It is also a form of entertainment and a way of experiencing deep rooted curlutal heritage.

Not all forms of martial arts are for everyone. that why we offer one of the most unique styles. A compact but challenging system that can be done by any age.

Tired of the same GYM rutine, try a martial art that gives

you more than a workout.
